FLOOD RESPONSE

The techniques and equipment used in the extraction / dry-out process will differ depending on the project. Minor flooding should be extracted quickly while a catastrophic flood often requires a much slower approach. Hydrostatic pressure from the saturated outside soil may cause severe structural damage if water below grade is removed too quickly. In some instances, soil core samples and/or thermal imaging may be required to determine if the water should be removed.
